NP Plitvice, preparing for season
These days all objects in Plitvice are workin full power and expecting bigining of tourist season that usualy hapens on Easter.
We expect 10000 visitors from agencies fully prepared. All 720 workers was activated on time because we expect guests from Italy, Germany, France, and other countries, and on Easter we expect nice weather, said Borislav Perica, director of NP Plitvice Lakes. More...

On-line booking in 5 more camps by Valmar
Valamar, the bigist tourist group in Croatia, got on-line reservation of camping spots in five more camps, after first two camps in 2006. - Lanterna ( Poreč ) and Orsen ( Vrsar ). On-line reservation system now include Politin and Ježevac from Krk, Solaris and Istra from Poreč and Marina from Rab.

RyanAir and GermanWings fly to Zadar
Starting form march, Zadar will be connected with german cities of Stuttgart and Cologne by german low-budget airline German Wings. Although the Zadar airport hasn't yet reached an official agreement with Ryanairom, it is also probable that air connections will be started with Dublin and, soon after, London.
Furthermore, GirJet will connect Zadar and three german cities every second week during the 2007 tourist seazon. Also starting from april, the low-buget airline SkyEurope will, along Bratislava, connect Zadar with Vienna.
All of these new reported air routes initiated building improvements to the Zadar airport passanger terminal, which will grow by more than 22000 square feet. More...

Le Méridien hotel Lav opened in Podstrana near Split
New Le Méridien hotel Lav opened today in Podstrana near Split. The new hotel is the first five-star hotel in the county of Split and the only one from Opatija to Dubrovnik.
New hotel consists of four buildings counting a total of 382 luxurious rooms, state of the art congress center, tennis court and other recreation facilities, a wellnes center and a large pool complex. New four star hotel to be constructed in Makarska
Spanish company Iberostar and Bobita ltd of Makarska have recently closed a 50 million € deal to construct a new four star hotel in Makarska. The future hotel will have more than 300 rooms and apartments and more than 270 thousand square feet.
Hotel is about to be constructed in the wester part of Makarska, replacing the old Dalmacija camping site. Opening of the new hotel is scheduled for April 2009. More...
